The low-clearance design and high capacity, energy-efficient dehumidification offered by the Santa Fe™ Advance makes it ideal for crawlspaces. Did you know that up to half the air you breathe on the first floor of your home comes from your crawlspace? Since relative humidity levels above 70% in your crawlspace stimulate the growth of mold and bacteria, unhealthy air can infiltrate from the crawlspace into your living area. The Santa Fe™ Advance offers time-tested technology to maintain recommended humidity levels in your crawlspace, thereby protecting your home and family from the consequences of high humidity.
MERV-11 FiltrationThe Santa Fe™ Advance dehumidifier utilizes a blower rather than a propeller fan allowing the use of high-efficiency air filtration for improved indoor air quality. Standard MERV-11 filtration captures particles from 1.0 to 3.0 microns in size-resulting in effective filtration of most mold spores.
Low-Profile DesignIdeal for low clearance applications such as crawlspaces and attics.
Large CapacityThis high capacity dehumidifier removes up to 90 pints of water per day at standard conditions-enough water removal capacity for areas up to 2200 square feet.
Low Temp OperationThe Santa Fe™ Advance dehumidifier was created to control humidity in crawlspaces. Dehumidifiers are rated for capacity at 80°F and 60% relative humidity. At the cooler, real-life temperature of a crawlspace, the capacity of conventional dehumidifiers drops dramatically. At temperatures below 65°F, frost forms on the coils of a conventional unit and causes the unit to ice-up. Typically, frost will cut down on air circulation and the dehumidifier unit will remove less moisture from the air. Even under cooler conditions, the Santa Fe™ Advance dehumidifier, professionally installed by Strata-Tek LLC technicians, removes more pints of water per day surpassing most dehumidifiers in the market.
Optional DuctabilityAttaching ductwork to the unit promotes air circulation throughout the crawlspace allowing for the location of the unit by the crawlspace access door for convenience. The unit may also be located remotely when space doesn't allow for placement in the crawlspace.
